Welcome to Windrise! This site is home to both Windrise Designs and Windrise Morgans.
Windrise is the culmination of all of Sherri's visions and talents. Whether its working with Morgan horses or designing documents, she strives for excellence.
Her first passion beyond her family is her herd of Morgan Horses. Windrise Morgans was established in 1989 with the purchase of pair of mares. A third mare was attained shortly afterwards. In 1992 the mares were joined by a stallion, Motif Hill Marquisee. In the years since, Windrise has been producing Morgans for family, show and breeding. Young stock bearing the Windrise prefix have found their place in multiple states and as foundation stock in breeding farms.
In working to promote her venture with Morgan Horses, Sherri soon discovered her talents with graphics and web design. Over time this has spread into designing other business related documents including business cards, brochures, flyers, newsletters and much more. Over the years she has developed a keen eye for detail and acquired skills with digital photography. Using her aptitude with graphics, she can manipulate the photos for use in documents or on the web. She is also quite skilled with a scanner.
Her talents don't stop there. If there is something you have in mind, but are unsure of how to proceed, drop her a note. She may be able to come up with something to fit your needs.
Why the Pegasus logo? Sherri feels that it represents strength and that dreams can take flight and become reality. While the Pegasus is mythical, the image of such grace and beauty stirs the imagination allowing wonderful things to come to light.
Windrise Morgans is a proud member of the American Morgan Horse Association and The Lippitt Club, Inc.
Windrise is located in North Central Wisconsin, roughly 30 miles NW of Wausau.
