| There are currently seven mares
here at Windrise. Since we bought our first mares in 1989. Our
small herd has grown. With the lease of our foundation stallion in
1992, we officially embarked on our Morgan breeding venture. To date
(2009), Windrise has produced 21 foals. Nine of those being full Lippitts/Foundation Morgans. We intend to continue
producing beautiful Morgan foals from the wonderful mares below. You can
scroll down for an introduction, or use the buttons below to go directly to
their individual pages. If you would like to contract for a foal or

Shadlow's Quintana
Minimal Sabino Bay, Connected Star, Wide
Strip, Wide Snip Extending Over Both Nostrils, Both Hind Fetlocks.
6/1/1979
Our senior foundation mare. Out of the three mares
we started our herd with, she is the only one we still have. "Tana"
has graced us with six wonderful foals over the years. Tana has a
forever home with us. We are retaining her 2003 daughter as her
replacement within the breeding herd. She blessed us with a black
filly, Windrise Lady Vivien on May 4, 2005. We almost lost her
afterwards due to complications. Tana is officially 30 years young. We feel EXTREMELY lucky to have her with us!

TOV Paulina Darling
Chestnut, Star, Snip, Both Hind Pasterns.
4/18/1995
Full Lippitt/Foundation
"Lina" is Katie's mare and she loves her
so very much. This little mare takes such good care of her girl!
Katie rides Lina in parades, on occasional trail rides and in Leadline
classes at the shows. Lina also fills in as a lesson horse on occasion.
This mare is one in a million! She is, in our opinion, extremely beautiful.
While she is smaller at only 13.3HH, she is very typey with elegant
movement. Very smooth under saddle & incredibly intelligent.
This loving mare is one in a million and has a forever home with us. She has produced five full
Lippitt foals so far, all fillies.

Windrise T-N-T Legacy
Solid Bay
6/02/2003
While "Legacy" is not a "colorful" filly, she
is a stunning individual. A brilliant bay who moves like a dream she
just grabs your attention and holds it. She is very well built all the
way around and has a pretty face too. We've been asked why T-N-T,
its for Tana & Taylor her parents. She is their Legacy. We are
positive that she will live up to her name. Legacy is a great
mother and a very easy breeder. She is 100% sound and ready to start
training. She is for sale.
